vacuum over the sofa using a flat nozzle. It helps get rid of dust and little bits that build up over time. It also keeps the fabric looking fresh and feeling soft — especially if it’s corduroy.
If your cushions start looking a bit flat — especially where you always sit — just give them a shake or a gentle press here and there. It helps the filling fluff back up and keeps everything looking neat and comfy.
Every now and then, it’s good to switch the top and bottom cushions around, or spin them the other way. This helps everything wear out evenly — especially if your sofa gets a lot of sun. Even strong fabric fades over time, but rotating the pieces helps keep it looking balanced.
The cushion and mattress covers are easy to take off and toss in the washing machine — just make sure to zip them up and turn them inside out. Keep the wash cold (max 30°C), and skip the dryer, bleach, or ironing. For the metal frame, a simple wipe with a damp cloth is all it needs
